Even before joining FT I felt quite comfortable with the organization, having had initial contact with Amy. She was prompt in returning my first phone call, professional and friendly in answering all my questions, and offered several insights and lots of information.

When I visited the facility (very pleasant, clean, and well-equipped) and met Sean, I received an introduction as to what to expect in the weeks to follow. It is easy to see that Sean is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition and eager to share that information with his future clients.

The feeling of the “1 Client - 1 Trainer - 1 Goal” motto was further enhanced when I met Baseel, my assigned trainer. At each session, Baseel has been professional, knowledgeable, innovative, and persuasive (“give me 5 more” or “…10 more” reps!) - always knowing (somehow!) that I could! I believe that Baseel’s background in the martial arts has given an added dimension to our training sessions. We’ve traded information about martial arts and yoga, reflecting that the “ancients” certainly did know what they were doing! Baseel has a flair for keeping the sessions interesting and fresh – there’s always something new (and often challenging!) to try – and I’m confident that he prepares each workout for my specific needs and goals in mind. Who knew that the body gets into a routine and expects a certain workout on a certain day? Baseel knew that (at week 6) we had to switch the order of the upper/lower body routines. I am amazed at all the thought and preparation that goes into each session.

At the first assessment, I was very pleased with the results. Please know that my goal is not to be a bodybuilder or model type – I simply want to look more “normal”, feel comfortable in my clothes, be healthy and enjoy life. FT is certainly taking me in the right direction. In the first 8 weeks, I have lost 6 inches and 19 lbs of body fat! Very exciting! Before I began training with Sean, I had been working out on my own for about 10 years. I had worked out with other trainers in the past, but no training I had compared to the training I received from Sean.

In the summer of 2005, I was really disappointed with my appearance. I ran my 10-year-old son around town for camps and sports in the midst of my full time sales job and I was too exhausted to fit in exercising. I heard about Fitness Together and I checked it out. The program was just what I needed.

I signed up and began on August 9th, 2005. It was hard to get up early to work out, but it was the only time I could fit it in my busy schedule being a single mom. I found increased energy levels very quickly and I began to feel confident that I would look better with all my hard work. Working one-on-one with a trainer has pushed me to a new fitness level and at the age of 41, I feel more in shape than I did in college.
