International Basketball Pro Steve Rich and I, Kristé Bouvier have come together to bring you a top notch personalized off season conditioning plan for youth sport basketball players ages 12-18.

Why is keeping conditioned during the off season so important?

Basketball is a game of quickness, fast starts, sharp cuts and turns, acceleration, deceleration and jumping. At the Jr. High or high school level a player needs to perform at their very best week after week though a four month season. The best time to prepare for this is during the off-season.

It’s during the off-season where it becomes practical and sensible to prepare and put into practice excellent training principles. This will help you to maintain your fitness at a higher level. Consequently, you will bring out the best in your athletic potential when the season starts again.

It was once thought preseason training was enough to condition players for the upcoming competitive season. This is not true! Today, if the player doesn't come to preseason in optimal physical shape, many coaches simply will not allow the player on the court. There is also the risk that unconditioned players can be injured, dropped down a few notches on the roster, or even be cut from the team.

This on-line program is designed to keep you in shape and bring out your best performance!
